EasyDrive2 is the successor and replacement for EasyDrive which has now been discontinued.
EasyDrive2 works in a fundamentally different way to the original EasyDrive program. EasyDrive needed to store a user's username and password in its own configuration file and users had to update this information whenever their network password changed. EasyDrive2 gets around this limitation by exploiting the Credential Manager feature of Windows XP and Windows Vista which allows existing credentials to be cached and used silently to access network resources.
EasyDrive2 is included in the VPN Connectoid now supplied to users to create a VPN connection to the College network.
